Bemax 300g Polyester Staple Yarn Geotextiles Set Sail for Iraq
A shipment of ten containers of high-quality 300g polyester staple fiber geotextiles has officially been shipped to Iraq from the Bemax Geosynthetics factory. They will be used to meet the construction material needs of several infrastructure projects in the country. The geotextiles are expected to arrive at Iraq's main port by the end of this month.
Manufactured using a staple fiber needle-punched nonwoven process, these geotextiles exhibit excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
Using polyester fiber as the primary raw material, the geotextiles are processed through a non-woven needle-punched process without the addition of any chemical ingredients, making them an environmentally friendly building material.
In terms of performance, polyester staple fiber geotextiles demonstrate exceptional versatility: they not only provide six key functions—isolation, filtration, drainage, protection, stability, and reinforcement—but also possess excellent mechanical properties and resistance to corrosion and aging.
The geotextiles are also highly adaptable to various construction projects, with widths ranging from 1 to 6 meters and lengths from 50 to 100 meters. Customizable weights are available to meet the needs of diverse construction sites.
Geotextiles play a multifaceted role in Iraq's infrastructure development, with applications spanning key areas such as roads, railways, tunnels, and environmental protection projects.
In transportation, geotextiles are used for roadbed reinforcement, isolation, and drainage in highway and railway projects, providing a solid foundation for Iraq's transportation network.
In water conservancy projects, geotextiles can be used for dam slope reinforcement, dam protection, and soil strengthening, helping Iraq manage its precious water resources.
Environmental protection projects also rely on geotextiles, particularly in landfills, where they play a vital role in isolation and protection.
Geotextiles are also widely used in construction and agricultural breeding, demonstrating their unique value as a multifunctional geotechnical material.
In terms of product quality control, Bemax Geotextiles, the manufacturer, has obtained internationally recognized quality system certification and has installed geotextile quality testing equipment to ensure consistent and reliable product quality.
